Welcome Back to the SKS Library!

After a wonderful summer vacation, I am excited to be back at SKS!  I have lots of fun and collaborative activities planned for this school year.  I am also trying to set up some author visits and Skype time.  I have been busy filling the shelves with new books that I think the students will love! Author Nikki Maloney Visits SKS!

On Monday, November 24th, Nikki Maloney, author of The Peppermints series visited St. Katharine of Siena School.  Nikki shared her journey with grades K-4 on how she began writing her nine book series.  She read aloud The Peppermints:  Ski Vacation and her newest book, The Peppermints:  Thanksgiving Day Parade.  Her series is based on stories her father told her as a child.
